You don’t have to settle for store bought frozen garlic bread if you eat a gluten free diet, and that’s if you can even find it in any store. This garlicky, buttery side dish does not have to be off limits if you follow a gluten free diet. Gluten free garlic bread is so easy to make, and there is no need to skimp on ingredients which is often the case with store bought garlic bread. Our gluten free garlic bread is drenched in butter and garlic.

Garlic bread is usually made with a baguette, but any kind of bread can be used that has a hard crust and is soft inside. Gluten free baguettes are generally available at some supermarkets and health stores. A homemade gluten free bread can also be used.

Steps

1

Add ingredients to bowl

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Add the butter to a bowl and mix with a spatula until soft. Add the olive oil, crushed garlic, parsley and salt and mix it all together together with the spatula.

2

Cut baguette

Cut the baguette into 1-inch slices, making sure you don't cut all the way through the bread, and then and place it onto a piece of foil large enough to wrap the loaf in.

3

Spread mixture

Using the spatula, spread the mixture generously into the slits between each slice, making sure you reach all the way to the bottom.

4

Wrap in foil

Wrap the foil around the baguette and place onto a baking tray and bake for 15 - 20 minutes. You can leave the baguette in the foil after removing from the oven, unwrap only the top so as to keep the loaf nice and warm.
